ZENNER cancels all 2020 events

The number of both global and Germany-wide coronavirus infections has continued to increase over the past few days and has dramatically changed life worldwide.

Saarbrücken. For a number of weeks now, the Minol-ZENNER Group along with its corresponding companies worldwide have been responding with comprehensive and continuously updated sets of measures in relation to this development. The health of our employees, service partners, business partners as well as their families and fellow human beings is the top priority here and is the focus of our actions. With this in mind, we have provided our employees and service partners with comprehensive information on conduct and hygiene, as well as having accordingly adjusted our hygienic infrastructure and our modes of operation.

Due to the current corona crisis (COVID-19), ZENNER has cancelled all external 2020 events for the time being. These include: customer events, workshops, seminars and trade fairs.
“The health and safety of our fellow human beings and our employees is the top priority”, says Managing Director, Sascha Schlosser regarding the measure.

“Any cancellation of an event naturally causes considerable inconvenience to those involved. But we now need community solidarity to curb the undeniable dangers of the virus epidemic. This is only possible if social contact, which of course takes place at such events, is strictly suspended. In doing so, we are protecting our employees but also particularly elderly people, who are exposed to a higher health risk by the virus. Containing the virus is a task which concerns the community as a whole. At ZENNER, we accept this responsibility and are giving it our all”, continues Schlosser.

As a result, ZENNER has also significantly tightened its hygiene standards at all sites across the world and initiated further extensive measures to contain the dangerous virus. As such, working from home has gradually become obligatory and all business trips have been temporarily cancelled. In order to facilitate this, the complete digital infrastructure of the company has been restructured. The newly implemented digital communication channels and collaboration platforms for customers and employees therefore not only represent an emergency solution for the company during the crisis but have a positive impact in terms of customer satisfaction and an increase in efficiency.

“The world will be a different place after the crisis. At ZENNER, we have quickly grasped this and have responded accordingly. We have rethought processes in many areas and we will emerge out of this challenging time even stronger”, adds Managing Director, Sascha Schlosser regarding the outlook.

Adapt to the situation and stay safe!
